THE KILROY WEBSITE QUICK-WIN CHECKLIST
7 SMALL CHANGES.
A STRONGER FIRST IMPRESSION.
Open your website on your phone. Work through these seven checks as if you were a customer finding you for the first time. Pick one improvement to make today.
1. Say what you do before people scroll.
Name the service, who it helps and where you work. Replace vague slogans with a clear first sentence.
Try: “Commercial welding and repairs for businesses in [your service area].”
2. Give every page one obvious next step.
Use a specific action such as “Request a quote” or “Book a consultation.” Make it easy to find near the top and again after useful detail.
3. Show the work customers need to see.
Choose a sharp, relevant photo of your actual work, product or team. Add a short factual caption. Use only images you have permission to publish.
4. Answer the questions that slow an enquiry.
List your services, service area, typical project fit and how to get started. Make hours and contact details easy to find. Keep prices and availability accurate.
5. Make contacting you feel easy.
Keep required form fields to what you need to respond. Explain what happens after submission. Test the phone link, form errors and saved confirmation.
6. Give your phone the final say.
Check text size, menu access, button spacing and image crops on a real phone. Remove sideways scrolling and heavy images that delay the page.
7. Match your ad to the landing page.
Repeat the same offer and action on both. State conditions beside the offer, and send clicks to the relevant page. Ask new leads how they found you and review which enquiries fit.
